Abstract :
The fulfillment of STT-PLN water needs to be supplied from groundwater. Thus, this will lead to decreased soil and decreased soil water discharge due to large quantities of consumption. The concept of rainwater harvesting is one of the alternatives to reduce the occurrence of it. This research aims to calculate the amount of rainwater that can be harvested through the roof of the STT-PLN. By using daily rainfall data 15 years from the year 2004 to 2018 and the roof area of STT-PLN then obtained the amount of rainwater that can be harvested. From the analysis done, the potential of water that can be harvested through the roof of the building at STT-PLN based on the daily average rainfall is 16.,1428 m3 per day or at 2066,273 m3 annually. It is able to meet 12,6169% of water demand in STT-PLN per year. In the planning of rainwater harvesting is based on a 2-year period of rainfall planning with the volume of the per day reach of 83,3649 m3 with a value of efficiency reached 65,1567 m3 of water usage for STT-PLN.
