Abstract :
Sukowati Street is one of the national roads in Sragen Regency, Central Java Province with the function of the surrounding area as settlements, fields, vacant land, shops, and industries. This road is located in the center of Sragen Regency and is the main road of Solo-Sragen and is the main road to Ngawi Regency. Over time, the high volume of traffic that overloads the Sukowati Road repeatedly results in a decrease in the quality of the road in the form of damage to the road surface, thereby reducing comfort and causing accidents for road users. The study was conducted using the Surface Distress Index method with measurement parameters are the area of cracks, crack widths, number of holes, and ruts. This study aims to assess the level of damage of each segment on Jl. Sukowati along 1 km (Sta 2 + 300 to Sta 3 + 300) and know the appropriate handling method based on Bina Marga 2011. Each segment is evaluated in order to get an SDI value. The analysis and calculation of SDI shows the level of damage that occurs in each segment. Following the level of damage to segment I has an SDI value of 245 (heavily damaged), segment II 225 (heavily damaged), segment III 105 (lightly damaged), segment IV 40 (Good), segment V 105 (lightly damaged), segment VI 45 ( good), segment VII 45 (good), segment VIII 95 (moderate), segment IX 35 (good), and segment X 45 (good).
