Abstract :
Concrete is one of the construction materials that is very often used in building structures in Indonesia. In advancing technology, building construction has a unique shape but still emphasizes the strength and security of building structures, therefore the use of concrete construction is quite common. There is quite a lot of waste today and it is difficult to treat. To answer the demands for strength in building structures and reducing waste in the environment, it is necessary to conduct experiments and research. This study aims to determine the effect of substitution of glass waste powder and bottom ash on compressive strength and absorbs in concrete. Glass waste powder as a substitute for cement and bottom ash as a substitution of fine aggregate. The samples used were cylindrical with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. Concrete is planned with fc 25 MPa or K-300 with glass waste powder 10% by weight of cement, bottom ash by 10%, 20%, and 30% by weight of fine aggregate. From this study it was found that the most optimum sample was found in a variation of a mixture of Glass Waste Powder 10% + Bottom Ash 10% with compressive strength of 26.765 MPa and absorption of 3.678%.
