Abstract :
Water balance analysis according to the hydrometeorological function is very useful for evaluating the availability of water in an area, especially to determine the period of water surplus and deficit. This study aims to analyze the availability and demand of water and analyze the water balance in the Cipanas watershed, West Java. In this study analyzing the availability of water is calculated based on a reliable discharge of 80% (Q80) with the Flow Duration Curve method. The results obtained from the water balance analysis in one year for irrigation water needs in the Cipanas watershed area were obtained on an average of 5.62 m3/s, with two months not being met, namely in May and August. The results of the need for clean water for the RKI for the Cipanas watershed for the domestic area of 0.05 m3/sec, non-domestic water demand for 0.015 m3/sec and the industrial water demand of 0.005 m3/sec
