Abstract :
Utilization of waste tile and PET waste as a mixture of environmentally friendly concrete tile making. Utilization of PET waste and tile waste as subtle aggregate substitution to determine the effect of substitution on the flexural load and water absorption in environmentally friendly materials concrete tile. The independent variables in this final project is a variation of the percentage increase in Waste Tile and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), to the reduction in sand 0%, 2.5 %, 5 %, 7.5 %, and 10% with the number of samples specimens each of 15 pieces. Analysis of data displayed using by comparing the 0096-2007. The test results of concrete roof tile with the addition of Waste Tile and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and fiber sand reduction 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%. The test results of the optimal flexible load characteristic test 5% concrete tile aged 7 days = 1949,217 N, 14 days = 2076,163 N, and 28 days = 2184,869 N. The test results of concrete roof tile water absorption optimum on aged 28 days the addition of Waste Tile and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) on variations 0% = 3,749%, variations 2,5% = 3,192%, variations 5% = 3,079%, variations 7,5% = 2,892% and then variations 10% = 2,688%. From the above study it can be concluded that suitable mix composition for making concrete roof tiles using substitution materials of PET plastic bottles and tile shards with optimum value of flexural load and absorption at 28 days is at a variation of 5% plastic bottle waste and 5% rubble fraction waste.
