Abstract :
Concrete is a cement-based construction material, and the aggregate is sand and gravel. In making concrete, it is demanded to have innovative use of waste as a substitute for materials commonly used. To answer these demands, experiments and research need to be done, one of the ways is by using marble stone waste, bagasse ash and admixture. This study aims to determine the effect of partial substitution of marble stone waste, bagasse ash and superplasticizer on the strength of concrete. The sample used is cylindrical (15 cm x 30 cm), the proportion of the mixture there are 5 variations, namely normal concrete, bagasse ash mixture with a variation of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement, marble stone waste as a variable that is, 75% by weight of gravel and superplaticizer 2% by weight of water. The testing parameters are compressive strength, tensile strength, slump test, concrete absorption. For tensile strength and absorption tests performed on day 28, while for concrete compressive strength tests conducted on days 7, 14, 28 and the results of testing at 28 days, the lowest compressive strength was found in normal concrete variations of 30.573 MPa with absorption values of 1.579%. The highest compressive strength is in variation 4 (BM 75% + ATT 15% + SP2%) with compressive strength 32,177 MPa and absorption value of 1,136. The highest split tensile strength is in variation 4 (BM 75% ATT 15% + SP2%) of 2,334 MPa.
