Abstract :
The need for building materials has increased along with the increasing rate of physical development. Lately the implementation of development increasingly requires very high costs due to rising prices and reduced raw materials. In connection with this matter, efforts should be made to have alternative materials which have properties similar to concrete-making materials. Materials that have similar properties and shapes to concrete-making materials are Bagasse Ash as a substitute for cement and bottom ash as a substitute for fine aggregate (sand). The composition of concrete variations made include bagasse ash 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by weight of cement, bottom ash by 10% by weight of sand, and addition of superplasticizer 2% by weight of cement and then by testing the compressive strength and absorption. these results are compared with normal concrete. Compressive strength testing i at the age of concrete 7 days, 14 days and 28 days, while the absorption is done at the age of 28 days. Based on the test results it is known that the highest compressive strength for concrete samples with a mixture of bagasse ash waste mixture 5% + bottom ash 10% + superplasticizer 2%, produces a compressive strength of 31,588 MPa at the age of 28 days. When compared with normal variation concrete which has a compressive strength of 29,981 MPa, an increase of 5,360% with a difference of 1,607 MPa and the result of absorpsin of 0,417%
