Abstract :
Solar power plant is one of the implementations of the utilization of renewable energy which utilizes sunlight as the source of the electrical generator. Solar panel consists of a number of cells, also called the silicon solar cell Photovoltaics (PV) which was in sunlight, then generate a proton that evokes an electric current. Solar Panel should remain in a State of net to be able to absorb maximum sunlight. Therefore it takes a Robot which can make humans certainly clean the solar panels.
In designing the Robot cleaner solar panels use Raspberry as the central control of the Robot and using two DC Motors as the prime mover of the Robot, a Motor Pump for spraying water, a DC Motor for brushes, as well as using two sensors, proximity to detect the obstacle. All communication through the medium of WIFI and can be controlled by the PC. This robot is designed to clean the solar panel which has a slanted surface.
This research resulted in a Robot that can clean the solar panels and can be controlled by monitoring the web on a PC. The robot can display results of pictures from a camera and come the history records when the Robot was used. Robot cleaner solar panels generated is expected to relieve the human work in accordance with the desired.
