Abstract :
In the distribution of electrical energy from the power plant to the consumer occurs energy loss or shrinkage energy. Losses of energy in a electrical system must always exist. Losses of energy often occur by load imbalances. Which amount is also be affected by the burden on each phase. This results in a cost loss due to unused energy. Losses of energy cannot be eliminated, because the equipment used in the electrical distribution system may not have an efficiency rate of 100%. In this thesis will discuss the losses at the L184 distribution substation by looking at the difference between the output energy of the transformer and the energy used by the customer's kWh meter Then do the load balancing. The method used to balance the load is the method of breaking the load in the phase, the phase with the largest current will be broken down into the phase with the smallest current to reduce the load imbalance. After breaking the load, the cost loss can be seen before the load breaks and after the load breaks. And find the root of the problem by using the why why analysis method.
