Abstract :
Tower Crane is very suitable to be used for high-rise building services to serve a large area. Tower Crane is the central or most important tool for this project, because in high-rise building projectstransportation vertical maupul horizontal plays an important role and determine especially the matter of work speed. In this project there are two types of Tower Crane used, namely static Crane Tower and Climbing Crane. In this study will discuss the comparison of the two tools, seen from the use of time and cost in the casting work of the column. The purpose of this study was to determine the time of use of static tower cranes and climbing cranes, to determine the costs required for the use of static tower cranes and climbing cranes, to get the most optimum time and cost in the use of static tower cranes and climbing cranes. Observation samples were taken as much as 10 casting time data for each tower crane. From the results of observations made seen from the comparison of the costs used, the results obtained are the total cost of casting the column using a static tower crane of Rp. 1,397,000.00 with an estimated time of 2 hours 47 minutes while, the total cost of casting a column using a climbing crane of Rp. 1,246,000.00 with an estimated time of 2 hours 31 minutes.
