Abstract :
As we know that the sun is the source of livelihood for living beings, created by God as an element of the completeness of the universe. Solar energy is available in a number of very large, non-polluting, will not run out yet free. Therefore this energy source used for electricity through solar power plant systems (PLTS). Conventionally, to install a solar power generation system in need of large area, such as open farmland or forest. This leads to the problem of land acquisition as well as the damage the environment. By using solar power system installed floating on the water (Solar Floating), it is no longer needed large tracts of land for the construction of power plants, besides the floating solar power system has a better efficiency when compared to solar power over the land. In writing this essay I will discuss about development planning power plant to meet electricity needs in Kampung Lotkala Plumpness District of Central Aceh district, where the planning unit of this plant is a Floating Solar Power (Solar Floating) to be built on the lake Laut Tawar.
