Abstract :
Combustor Suralaya are Reheater function to reheat steam coming from the HP turbine by utilizing the gases of combustion temperature is relatively high . Heating aims to raise the efficiency of the overall system , a problem often encountered is the leaking pipe reheater at the weld joint . The problem is the failure of the welded joint is a very urgent problem to be addressed immediately . In this study , observation and analysis focused on the influence of the HAZ ( Heat Affected Zone ) on the strength and changes in material properties . The author intends to perform testing of the pipe material reheater the failure of this welded joints . By Metallography optic testing process , SEM EDS MAPPING , and SPARK OES order to know the cause of the failure of welded joints in the pipe this reheater
