Abstract :
The turbine is a major component in a steam power plant that serves to transform heat energy into mechanical energy which then drives a generator that into electricity. Balfour's own power plants using turbines made by Shandong Jinan Power Equipment Factory named G121501 turbine. Care must always be on guard turbines mainly on components and lubricating. In the two turbines in the power plant Balfour damaged so should Breakdown Maintenance, resulting from a lack of oil turbine into a low level of default resulting in deformation of the turbine rotor. It should be considered also in turbine repair namely clearance. Clearance is the distance that allowed for bearing with the turbine rotor or gland packing the turbine rotor. Clearance must be on guard to prevent vibration of the turbine or the friction between the turbine rotor turbine bearings. The cause damage to the turbine bearing two are due to contaminants that tinggin lubricating oil resulting in breakdown maintenance. From eligibility calculations pads with the data is still entered in turns bearing the eligibility standards of the manufacturer. Clearance value when measured bearing considerable bearing eroded due babit is 0.12mm to 0.08mm for the journal bearing and turbine rear bearing.
