Abstract :
Power plant at JOB Pertamina - PetroCina , Salawati harness the power plant as a source of electricity to meet the operational needs in producing crude oil and other needs . However , open- cycle gas power plant has a low thermal efficiency of 14.42 % which is caused by the residual exhaust gas from the gas turbine is still high which is known to have the exhaust stream of 6.365 kg / s at a temperature of about 335 ° C and a pressure of 1,313 bar . In this research study , the use of exhaust gas from the gas turbine system using Rankine Cycle ( RC ) or the so-called Combined Cycle Power Plant ( CCPP ) which aims to gain additional power capacity and improve the thermal efficiency of the power plant . the power that can be generated with the RC system of 221.48 kW and efficiency of the system value CCPP with the RC system by 21.32 % .
