Abstract :
Combine cycle power plant is a plant that is widely used as a solution equitable distribution of electrical energy in Indonesia, as the thermal power plants that use heat as an energy source main will require water both as a coolant fluid or working fluid remedy process steam production, water as the fluid main steam production must be in accordance with the specifications of the components that use it, for it is necessary to have the water treatment before it is used as a working fluid. Multi-effect desalination (MED) is a tool desalination to reduce salt water before entering the unit, the reliability of the MED should be in good condition, see his performance is directly related dengat generation units, efficiency and results of product water is the main parameters of reliability MED, results reliability analysis in the form of a ratio between the heating steam and product can be a benchmark analysis of the reliability of the MED, and can meet the needs of fresh water to the power plant, so that the cycle of the power plant running properly.
