Abstract :
Engine cooling is frequently encountered around us is ac, refrigerator and so on, even though we had to know there are many more coolers we've never guess. such as water chiller or air dryer in the world that is often used Peridustrian and generation. The engine coolant is not sekerdar regular cooling machine, we take the notion that air dryer air dryer by cooling the air so that water can condense and produce a dry air that is safe for the equipment pneumatic. This research describes the analysis of cooling load calculation Air Dryer for UBP Suralaya unit 7, includes the calculation of heat load and water absorption in the air. Heat load in the form of air. After cooling load calculation results obtained Air Dryer, then the calculation results are compared with the cooling capacity of the machine that has been installed. By analyzing the Air Dryer cooling load is expected to solve the problems that occur, the drying air is not the same as the capacity, to the next is also expected to increase Air dryer work itself. the final results of this study were obtained maximum cooling load at peak condition for 188,906.558 Btu / hr. while the installed capacity of the engine coolant is 169,011.472 Btu / hr. deficiency cooling load occurs at 19895.086 Btu / hr. if the load is attached according to preliminary calculations it will generate a compressed dry air that is safe to use for instrument water and service water.
