Abstract :
Power Breaker (PMT) is a switch that is used to connect or disconnect
electricity under normal conditions or in abnormal conditions or interference. To always maintain the reliability of PMT, it is necessary to carry out regular maintenance. This study aims to identify the working principle of the PMT bay PLTMG, what tests are carried out on the PMT and to recognize the reliability and feasibility of the Power Breaker (PMT). In the analysis of this research using data from the maintenance of the Power Breaker (PMT) in the 2 (two) years maintenance period also analyzes the previous maintenance period in 2018.The results of the analysis state that the grounding resistance test for phases R, S, T is 0,88?, and the resistance is synchronous for conditions open time 0,1 ms and close time 0,3 ms, and the average value of insulation resistance for R (6030,6M?), S (4453,2M?), T (4510,4M?) where these values are still below the value standard or still good. But in the contact resistance test for the period 2018 and 2020, the test values obtained were for the R (217 ??), S (190 ??), and T (176??) phases where these values were not in accordance with the permitted standards, namely <100 ??, that is Of course, improvements
need to be made to PMT contacts. With the maintenance of a power breaker, the reliability of the PLTMG PMT bay can be detected.
