Abstract :
On this thesis, performance pulverizer analysis done according to specifications of the coal design (Bukit Asam) and another coal-fired used by Suralaya PLTU units 5-7. Specifications of coal that is seen to be analyzed on the performance pulverizer effected by HGI, moisture, fineness and raw coal grind size, grind size of raw coal but does not affect the due value remains 32 mm for all the coal. This analysis compared to coal of Bukit Asam (early development) and Bukit Asam coal (now), Adaro, Berau, Kideco, PLN, Oktasan (1) and Oktasan (2). Coal now being used is already decreasing the capacity maximum value (CAPmax) below the maximum capacity of the coal early development but for fineness still ? 70% to qualify for a 200 mesh. Now, the largest pulverizer maximum capacity owned by Bukit Asam amounted to 62.245 kg/h. While the lowest maximum capacity owned by Adaro and Berau coal of 52.871 kg/hour below the base value of the capacity of MPS pulverizer-89N 56.246 kg/h. Pulverizer with a maximum capacity of pulverizer below base capacity, should operate the six (6) pulverizers to fulfill the supply into the combustion chamber.
