Abstract :
The use of internet networks has become a part of people's lives today. The advent of smartphones makes it easy for everyone to access the internet with their small portable communication devices. Sending letters through the post office is no longer valid in this day and age. All analog information is converted into digital information and transferred through the internet network. When in year 2019 there is a flood and a long power outage, people will have difficulty communicating because all the routers in the house are dead. Almost all routers today use fiber optic cable media so they do not need electricity in sending and receiving digital data on their media. If only the router at home remains active, the public can get internet access during a power outage in 2019. This problem can be overcome by backing up the power to the router, either manually or automatically. Making a backup of this power can help people in an emergency not needing electricity for the router. Making a backup automatically can help entrepreneurs run their business which cannot be done to terminate the internet connection.
