Abstract :
As production goes on in PT Surya Toto Indonesia, sometimes the burden decreases and also increases. Therefore, the electrical system needs to be analyzed to determine the overall condition. In this study an analysis of power flow which includes normal and emergency situations as well as conditions at the time of starting the motor. For this reason ETAP software is used. In the first simulation under normal conditions voltage drop occurs with marginal conditions on the FT 2 bus that is equal to 0.369 or 97.2%. To improve the voltage drop on the bus, the second step is to add capacitors on the FT 2-1 bus is 300 kVAR and the FT 2-2 bus is 400 kVAR. After increasing the capacitor's capacity, the FT 2 bus becomes normal. In the third simulation that is in an emergency condition, under excited occurs on the generator 6, 7, and 8. In the fourth simulation on the emergency condition the capacitor on the FT 3 bus is reduced from the original 300kVAR to 250 kVAR so that the generator returns to normal operation. Should conduct an electricity flow analysis periodically to find out the quality of the power used. In the simulation of motor starting with the DOL (Direct On Line) method, the starting current is 1473.9 A while FLA (Full Load Ampere) is 268.4 A and the bus voltage drops to 91.53%. In the simulation of the starting motor using the soft starter method, the starting current is 889.5 A and the bus voltage becomes 94.8
