Abstract :
One of them is Over Current Relay (OCR) and Ground fault Relay (GFR) which is used as network system protection. This relay works against overcurrent, it will work if the current flowing exceeds setting value. With the addition of the load, the load on the feeder side will increase. To determine the relay settings, the biggest short-circuit fault current calculation was performed
on Norwegian feeder 3Ø fault at a distance of 0.108 km at 14776.9277 A, while the smallest short circuit fault current occurred at 1Ø at a distance of 10.8 km at 654.3424418 A. Setting over current relay on CBO is TMS = 0.097 and ground
fault relay is TMS = 0.058. And setting the over current relay in Outgoing Feeder is TMS = 0.1158 and the ground fault relay setting is TMS = 0.171. The TMS value in the Circuit Breaker Outgoing (CBO) is smaller than the TMS that is in the Outgoing Feeder, this shows CBO as the main protection and Outgoing
Feeder as the backup protection.
