Abstract :
In urban areas electricity consumption is quite high. So to save electricity consumption can be used natural resources in the form of solar energy by using solar power plants. On Grid Solar Power Plant on the roof top is one way to utilize the solar energy. The PLTS construction on the roof (roof top) is implemented by utilizing the roof of the house as a land for solar panel installation. In designing PLTS for homes in Sutera Lavender 7, Alam Sutera, Tangerang Selatan, it takes accurate calculations to determine the ideal photovoltaic system, which is looking for the number of solar modules to be installed, calculating the power produced per day and year, performance ratio and also calculate the value of the initial investment needed and then return the initial investment capital return. The results of the on-site PLTS planning obtained solar panel capacity of 10,8 kWp, 84% performance ratio, with an initial investment cost of Rp. 187,875,000 and the payback period is 8 years.
