Abstract :
Solar energy has been used as an alternative energy source to produce renewable electricity with a very low level of pollution so that it does not have a negative impact on the environment. The PLTS system is one of the renewable energies that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia, one of the PLTS systems is on-grid. This research discusses the investment of PLTS from a technical point of view and the calculation of economic aspects to help electricity supply. This research was conducted with a PVSyst software using a total of 12 modules of @200 Wp polycrystalline and an inverter with a capacity of 3 kW. Economic value parameters used are Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period, Profitability Index, and Internal Rate of Retum (IRR). From the calculation, the initial investment cost for the PLTS system on a private house which is installed in the parking lot of the house is Rp 45.400.000,00 with operational and maintenance costs of Rp 454.000,00 per year, while the Cost of Energy is Rp 4.500/kWh. The results of the investment feasibility analysis show that the NPV has a positive value of Rp. 492.740,86 and the IRR value is 11.2%. If the NPV and IRR values show positive values, the investment for this PLTS system project is feasible. As for the pay back period will occur in the 7th year of the project operation period.
