Abstract :
Gasifier is the process of gasification in the reactor, the gasification process itself is the process of converting energy from fuels containing carbon (solid or liquid) into gas called producer gas where the gas has a fuel value by partial oxidation at high temperatures. In the fuel gasification process used is the utilization of biomass made from charcoal made from wood waste, the gas produced from burning biomass passes through several parts such as filters, the use of filters is very important, because there is still a lot of dirt in the form of dust and tar which is filtering must be carried out so that it can produce combustible gas while keeping the gas free of harmful substances before it is distributed to a generator or diesel as electrical energy conversion. From the statement above, the writer wants to do research on the gasification process on the gasifier without a blower and make a gasifier filter design that uses coconut shell charcoal or rice husk as well as what effect it has on the combustible gas produced by the filtering method.
