Abstract :
Electric power system protection is a protection system that is installed on the electrical equipment of an electric power system. Protection itself is an important system as a protection for distribution components. The reliability and ability of an electric power system in serving consumers are very dependent on the protection system used. The method used in writing is a qualitative method, which is a method that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The feeder gjn02 is an MVAD (Medium Voltage Air Duct) in the operational area of the gejayan substation. In the operation of the feeder gjn02 is supplied from the gejayan substation on transformer 2 with a capacity of 60 MVA, 150/20 kV, impedance of 12,084% and a length of 18.26 kms. From the calculation results, it was found that the short circuit fault at 150kV is only 6400A. If a 3 phase interruption occurs, PBO will work within 0.3 seconds and OCR will work within 0.6 seconds. In phase 1 interruption the PBO will work 0.6 seconds and GFR will work within 0.8 seconds
