Abstract :
Limited land in Jakarta causes the construction of high-rise buildings to become
more dominant. This high-rise building was chosen because it saves land and can
provide considerable space. To parking lots, basement is one alternative that can
be used to maximize existing land use. To maintain the stability of excavation,
Diaphragm Wall is used with with 0,8 meters thickness and 31 meters height are
used to be the retaining wall for 7 level basement. The writing of this S1 thesis
aims to analyze the shifting, strain, stress, axial force, shear force, bending
moment force, and safety factor of the Diaphragm Wall. After that, the anchor?s
length and strength design will be calculated to repair the shifting. The project to
be analyzed is the basement construction of Chitaland Tower. The limited element
method in Plaxis program is used to do the calculation. After making repairs
obtained results in extreme conditions of excavation 5 axial force -1690 kN/m,
shear force 362.99 kN/m, moment force 609.04 kNm/m deformation 0.16573 m,
voltage 2910 kN/m2, strain -1,78% and safety factor 2.3051. Based on the extreme
conditions obtained, the ground anchor was used as an additional reinforcement,
and anchor strength design with an anchor style of 897.70 kN/m for each anchor
with a total of 4 anchors.
