Abstract :
The lack of balance of the burden on the distribution system would cause considerable losses in the neutral current between each phase of the transformer. It can also limit the loading capability of the distribution transformer to far below the nominal value. The load balancing activity of transformer distribution is a routine activity conducted by PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 area of Pondok Gede based on the results of loading of transformers before and after load balancing to know the corresponding percentage on the distribution transformer. The research methods used are quantitative methods and analytical techniques used are descriptive statistical techniques. The condition of comparing the load of the transformer before and after weight balancing is 44.54% and 43.92%. The comparison condition of transformer losses before load balancing is 22.87 kW with percentage losses in neutral conductive is 2.69% and after load balancing is 0 kW with percentage losses on neutral conductive is 0%.
