Abstract :
Along with the economic growth and population, the electrical demand rises which as well requires a new low voltage network feeder. Low voltage network is part of an electric power system network with a voltage value of 380/220 volts. The installation design of a low voltage distribution network begins with a field survey to obtain several data to determine the load capacity of a transformer, cable type, type of the electric pillar, pillar placement point and line feeder of low voltage network. In this research, the object of the research is Griya Astana Housing with 47 units type 36 with 1300VA for 34 housing units, 2,200VA for 13 units power and the total power output is 72.800VA. There is also a Drop Voltage Value on the Blok A pole of 2,19 Volt, on the Blok B,C,D pole of 4,38 Volt and D pole of 6,58 Volt. After the data are collected, the next step is the installation of distribution network consist of construction of the transformer installation at the distribution substation, pillar placement, conductor selection and grounding installation. Based on the data processing results, the transformer capacity used is 100kVA, 4 direction Portal Distribution Substations, 3x70 + 50 mm2 TIC conductor with a KHA of 270 Amperes, 9m construction iron poles and has a mechanical load strength of 200-250 daN..This thesis only examines the installation design and construction of low voltage distribution network from substation to low voltage network.
