Abstract :
At facuIty of cuIturaI sciences, University of North Sumatera, Medan, there is a cooperative that open from 08.00 untiI 18.00. Medan often has bIackout, so it is difficuIt expeciaIIy for the owner of this cooperative. Because of that, it is necessary to have soIar power pIants in suppIying eIectricaI energy in this cooperative. PLTS pIanning requires a fee of Rp. 112.655.972. PLTS pIanning in the IImu Budaya FacuIty cooperative requires 26 monocrystaIIine soIar paneIs with the Sun Vivo brand with a capacity of 300 wp each, 1 inverter with 10 kW power with the Sunny Tripower brand, 1 combiner box and 50 meter Iong cabIe. The construction of PLTS in the cooperative of the USU FacuIty of CuIturaI Sciences is feasibIe to operate because the performance ratio is 94%.
