Abstract :
Electricity distribution system is a power distribution system, thus when a problem occurs it is expected to be handled quickly so that the reliability of the electric power system will not be extensively affected. The reliability of the electric power system can be identified from the blackout period when trouble occurs. Therefore a SCADA system with Remote Control (RC) system is applied so that process of network maneuvering will be more immediately handled when troubles occur. At PT PLN UP2D Jakarta Raya the Remote Control (RC) does not always properly work called a failed RC. RC failure occurs when the digital output does not carry out the command sent by the RTU to open-close an electric power device. RC failures can be caused by that causes the interruption between i / o module wiring with RTU. If the RC fail is not handled immediately, the recovery will take longer time that can also cause an increase in the value of the Energy Not Supplied (ENS). This is according to calculations on the dry feeder ENS value due to the RC failure of 10820.98 kWh with a Rupiah loss of Rp. 15,877,407.52. Whereas when RC is successfully operated to minimize ENS, the value decrease to 4637.55 kWh with a Rupiah loss of Rp 6,804,584.37.
