Abstract :
With the increasing use of underground distribution channels, will certainly increase the amount of land cable usage. One such disorder is a failure of isolation caused by partial discharge. Partial discharge is a discharge symptom of an isolation system and local, so that the isolation system is still functioning. However, these symptoms should be observed as early as possible because it is a symptom of decreased isolation quality. To know the quality of cable conditions, PT. PLN (Persero) conducts cable assessment using the Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) method to view partial discharge payload as well as its position mapping. Based on partial discharge testing on polymer feeder (Jalan Melati 1, Hibiscus, Pasar Senen) cable segment K 102 A to K 1 conducted, in phase R obtained health index 2 points (bad enough) and trend/limit 3 points so the multiplier frequency is 5 points which means cable status is bad with 6 months maintenance estimation. In phase S obtained health index 2 points and trend/limit 1 point so the multiplier frequency is 3 points which means the cable status is
quite good with 2 years maintenance estimation. While in phase T obtained health index 2 points and trend / limit 3 points so the multiplier frequency is 5 points which means cable status is bad with 6 months maintenance estimation.
