Abstract :
The foundation is the main structure in a building construction that functions carries the entire load of the building. At the construction project of toll road Semarang ? Solo using a bored pile foundation. This research will calculated value of bearing capacity and a settlement of bored pile foundation based on the result of Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and calculations with Finite Element Method. Ultimate bearing capacity calculations based on SPT by using Analysis method (Meyerhoff) is 55641,4038 kN and analysis by Finite Element method using Plaxis 2D program is 69395,9589 kN. The settlement based on Analysis method (Empiris) amounted to 45,0722 mm and settlement with Finite Element method using Plaxis 2D program is equal to 54,15 mm. The result of bearing capacity and a settlement with the Finite Element method is sizeable than using the Analysis method, this is because the soil parameters calculated in the Plaxis program are more than the calculations using the Analysis method.
