Abstract :
The sun is a source of energy that can be used as electricity. The sun is available in very large quantities, there is no pollution and will not run out even for free. Take advantage of the sun to become a source of electrical energy by using solar radiation as new and renewable energy through the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system. Currently planning a pollycristaline type PLTS on a fishing boat that returns a day on Siladen Island using 1 panel with a total capacity of 100 Wp and only uses 1 battery to generate cooling engine power, on Siladen Island which becomes stubborn fishermen who find it difficult to get ice cubes The problem is that the fish is not good when using this PLTS stone using the PLTS off grid system, the fishermen also lose money when using the stones because the costs incurred are very large because every year fishermen spend up to 6,000,000, therefore fishermen are encouraged to using PLTS because PLTS for fishermen is relatively cheap because when viewed from the investment of PLTS with ice cubes, PLTS is more profitable because every 10 years fishermen only spend 7,046,550 costs so fishermen can profit in year 2 if using PLTS. This research was created to help fishermen. So that the fishermen's catch can be stored properly.
