Abstract :
The electric power system plays an important role in all aspects, so the safety factor at the power plant as well as on the medium voltage network is needed. Interference with one feeder results in other feeders being affected and even blackouts. The protection system on the feeder must be coordinated and work optimally in handling interference, the protective equipment commonly used for medium voltage feeders is overcurrent relay (OCR) and ground connection relay (GFR), these relays instruct the PMT to open. For this reason, relay protection for incoming and outgoing feeders needs to be analyzed, from the analysis conducted setting protection relay on Bima feeders is appropriate, where the protection relay on outgoing feeder works faster than relay protection on incoming feeder, so that if there is a disturbance in Bima feeders, only the feeder goes out.
