Abstract :
Dispatching to schedule the generation of each operating plant to be able to meet the load requirements at the cheapest generation cost. Dispatching with lambda iterations taking into account the network loss is formulated to minimize the total fuel cost. The operating cost of an electric power system is the largest cost in operating an electric company. The cost incurred by an electric company to produce electrical energy in an electric power system is determined by investment costs and operating costs or production costs. Minimizing the operating cost of the generation is an optimization, so that optimization of generation can be defined as a generation process that aims to optimize power and minimize generation costs. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The data source used is secondary data obtained from the jurnal Optimalisasi Biaya Bahan Bakar Untuk Penjadwalan Unit-Unit Pada Pembangkit Thermal Sistem Minahasa Dengan Metode Iterasi Lamda oleh Sartika Veronika Angdrie. The data will be analyzed based on the network loss that occurs using the lambda iteration method. Based on the analysis that has been done, the optimal generation power is 5,4008 MW for unit 1 then 8,8057 MW for unit 2 and 2,1032 MW for unit 3, at a cost the generation is Rp.30.081.571,33/MWh
