Abstract :
We known that, the intensity of solar radiation in Indonesia is relatively constant so it needs to be utilized optimally to develop new renewable energy especially solar power plants. In this thesis discussed about planning PLTS as an alternative source of electrical energy at Mitra Husada Clinic, Kediri Regency. Hopefully, the clinic can be an example for other buildings to participate in utilizing new renewable energy, PLTS. This planning will be analyzed in technical and economic terms. The PLTS is designed to supply electricity with a load estimate at the clinic around 37.961 kWh. PLTS at the clinic is designed with a 7.6 kWp On Grid system. The number of solar panels needed in this planning is 30 solar panels, which will then be compiled into 2 parallel Hornbill and 15 series circuits. The capacity of inverter used in the planning of this PLTS is 10 kW. This PLTS design will be able to produce an output power of about 11,017.269 kWh/year. In terms of its economy, the initial investment cost of this PLTS development amounted to Rp 140,997,003,-. Based on the feasibility analysis, the design of the PLTS is worthy of development due to the return of investment capital occurring in the 9th year and the 11th month of the 10-year project life.
