Abstract :
Over time needs and electricity demand is increasing. To fulfill the electricity demand, it is necessary to determine the electricity forecast. The first step to do is to do forecasting the need for electrical energy will occur in the future. This forecasting of researchers uses historical data such as resident data, customer data, connected power, the amount of energy sold, and electricity energy sales revenue. Historical data from 2012 to 2019 used as data forecasting electrical energy needs in 2020 until 2025. Using methods of linear regression in Balige city to forecast electrical energy needs in 2020 to 2025.
