Abstract :
The electricity energy demands in DKI Jakarta province is always increasing. The increasing demand for electricity customers, the greater electricity load energy that is the responsibility of the DKI Jakarta 150/20 KV substation. This requires electrical energy forecast planning. PT. PLN (Persero) has to provide electrical energy demand according to the projected RUPTL PLN. Future Electricity needs can be determined using a combined method of a sector of the customer group to estimate electricity needs in 2019-2028. The combined method of the customer group sector approaches using analytic, econometrics, and trends from the previous year. From that method, it was obtained that until 2028, customer forecasts were 3.511,927, 41.821,89 MVA Power installed, and the energy consumption is 48.502,15 GWh. This method is highly accurate for long-term forecasts, based on the annual rate difference of 3% from PT. PLN (Persero), which is issued in RUPTL 2019-2028. To meet the electricity demand, PT. PLN (Persero) increased the installed power to 31.801,89 MVA until 2028. Increasing installed power is conducted by adding some new transformers even the new substation at some point with a very high power capacity that almost exceeded the transformer capacity. Therefore, it is necessary to forecast electrical energy needs to know the point of power installed addition point from the substation to avoid waste.
