Abstract :
Concrete customer distribution substations in general are only 20 Kv cubic. The problem that often occurs in the 20 Kv cubicle in a special customer concrete substation is that often the heater and fan are not installed because there is no 220V voltage inside. So that the occurrence of corona in the 20 Kv cubicle is very common. The research process was carried out using the direct trial method and conducting a literature study to find references for the data processing. The instrument testing was carried out using Arduino and a DHT11 temperature sensor which was placed in a 20 Kv cubicle for 6 days. The results of the data obtained that before installing the device the highest relative humidity (RH) value reached 84%. This value can make the corona emergence voltage (Ev) to be low at 4.31 Kv. However, after testing the installation of the highest relative humidity value to 44%, the resulting corona stress was 13.37 Kv. This value has exceeded the minimum working value of the single-phase voltage on the cubicle which is 11.56 Kv. So that the condition of the cubicle will be maintained optimally and avoid indications of corona. As a supply voltage of 220 V the author uses a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) that is capable of producing power of 2000 Watts, which will supply the temperature control device
