Abstract :
Solar home system is a small-scale solar power generation system that is commonly used in regions. Because each region has a different climate, it will affect the performance of the solar home system, one is the effect on solar modules. In this study will measure the performance of solar module so that it
can be analyzed the effect of module temperature and solar irradiation on the performance of solar module with box temperature variations. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method by measuring and measured
parameters are box temperature, module temperature, current, voltage, and solar irrradiation. After obtaining the measurement data and then calculate the power and efficiency of the solar module. From the research results it is known that when the average module temperature increases (45°C; 50°C and 55°C)
with the solar irradiation also increases (367.49 W/m2;422.3 W/m2;456.81 W/m2), so the current also increase (0,22A; 0,24A; 0,26A), while the voltage decreases (19,23V;19,07V;18,94V) and efficiency decreases (12,55%; 11,986%; 11,556). The voltage drop on solar module is -0,029V/°C and efficiency drop on the solar module is -0,0994 %/°C.
