Abstract :
Electrical energy is one of the most vital needs of society at this time. Electricity consumption also increases every year as the economy?s growth. The cost of household electricity usage has changed several times recently. Based on that reason,
people are looking for alternatives to decrease the cost of PLN electricity usage by planning renewable energy such as Solar Power Plants. One of a Solar Power Plant components is an inverter, an inverter is a device that can convert DC current into AC current for household electricity use. This research measures the modified Sine Wave inverters that are set to the Solar Power Plant(PLTS) of the Home Solar System with
different loads. Types of measurements that contain variations in temperature and load variations. The temperature variations effect the input voltage generated from the Solar Power Plant.In the variation of the load, each using load effect the generated voltage, when the load set to 169 watts produces an efficiency value of 98.25%.Therefore the efficiency of the inverter is very impactful for load usage.
