Abstract :
PLTS planning system becomes the solution for the future of electrical energy to meet the electricity needs still fulfil. Solar energy is a source of energy that is abundantly available in Indonesia. It can be used as a support for electrical energy. One of which is in Aceh province where the amount of electricity generated is not proportional to the electricity usage load of 351 megawatt, moreover, 71% of electricity supply in Aceh still originating from the northern Sumatran interconnection system, therefore it is necessary to build a solar power plant as the alternative energy source in dealing with problems if disturbance occurred. This research used analysis method technically and economically, to do PLTS planning system as electrical energy source at Department of Library and archival in west Aceh regency which is designed to supply electricity with an energy load around 102,952kWh/day, with the result that in this planning required 75 solar panels with a capacity of 300W which 5 array and arranged in 3 series and 5 parallel using an inverter with a capacity of 25 KW, 25 batteries with a capacity of 12 V 1000 Ah and 5 solar charge that build in an area of 129,13 m2 with an investment value of Rp1.105.292.797,- with a period of 15 years
