Abstract :
Medium Voltage Network protection system is needed to increase continuity and minimize blackout areas. The coordination of the recloser and sectionalizer protection device is needed to minimize the disturbance. The recloser is a relay that can detect fault currents and command the PMT to open (trip) and close again. Sectionalizer tool that functions to break disturbed tissue to minimize blackouts. This thesis uses descriptive quantitative method, and will discuss the shop feeders at the Legok Induk Substation, where there are reclosers and sectionalizers in this feed. The results of the settings obtained for ruko feeder on 3-phase short circuit current, recloser ruko feeder 1 TMS = 0.265 and recloser ruko feeder 2 = 0.114. At 1-phase short circuit current, recloser ruko feeder 1 = 0.33 and recloser ruko feeder 2 = 0.141. SSO itself will trip (open) after the loss of voltage on the affected network. Recloser and sectionalizer (SSO) coordination is based on the location of the disturbance that occurs. The interference is between recloser and SSO, so what works on this network is only recloser. If the disturbance occurs after SSO then the recloser will open first. After that SSO detects the loss of voltage due to the recloser being open.
