Abstract :
In the electrical system which is a very undesirable thing is about the occurrence of disturbance in both under frequency / over frequency which can cause the power plant unit to get blackout. If the power plant is already in a blackout condition then the recovery process requires a long time. House load on the side of the power plant is one of the schemes that must be applied to the power plant because it will speed up the recovery process at the power plant during trip conditions (blackout), then this undergraduate thesis will explain how important House Load reliability and how much the burden of usage itself when the house load operates and can explain the success factors including failure factors, also steps if the House Load is not successful. The results of the calculation of the minimum self-load when the House Load is operating is 9.526 MW. It is obtained the scanning results from the House Load logic diagram that the success of the House load can be seen by fulfilling one of the requirements for House load operation, then the House Load will succeed and failure factors can be seen from the chronology of disturbance data that explains failure can be affected by one of the using from own equipment in abnormal condition and Gas Turbine Generator(GTG) is not able to do the burning process quickly because runback is very fast, it can cause House Load to fail to operate.
