Abstract :
Steam Gas Power Plant (PLTGU) is a source of electrical energy. Electrical energy requirements can change according to necessity, which this load change will affect the efficiency of the power plant. The power plant is expected to have good efficiency. This efficiency can be seen from the value of the heat rate, the smaller the heat rate, the better the power plant efficiency. In this undergraduate thesis will be evaluated the value of Gross Plant Heat Rate (GPHR) and Nett Plant Heat Rate (NPHR) on the daily operating expenses recorded at the gate cycle with a performance test. From the results it can be seen that the gas turbine has good efficiency at 241 MW at 31% load for gas turbine 1 and 175 MW with 31% for gas turbine 2. Variations in loading on the gas turbine affect efficiency and in bearing the daily burden of gas turbine has not been at the best efficiency
