Abstract :
To analyze the reliability of the battery, a battery test is conducted to examine the current condition of the battery so it can estimate the ability of the battery to supply DC loads. The test was done in unit 4 Tarahan steam power plant, Lampung, with 110 VDC battery. Based on 2018 data, the battery capacity is 160,2 Ah with 80,1% efficiency which classified as a good condition although the efficiency level has reached the IEC minimum percentage. While in 2020 the battery of 133,8 Ah capacity has 66,9% efficiency, from that condition the battery capacity varies from 2018 to 2020 by 26,4 Ah and the efficiency decreases to 13,2%. Some factors that affects the battery capacity are battery life, external factors such as excessive floating charging and electrical series circuit.
