Abstract :
Indonesia's geographical condition in large archipelago can be utilized source of water sourced energy into Hydro Power, based on its classifications PLTA can be used as Minihidro power plant with capacity 1-10 MW. In Donggala regency, Central Sulawesi, there is a potential that can be used as a PLTM with a capacity of 7.4 MW, the conditions in the area are still not yet electrified evenly. The development of PLTM generates electricity that is distributed to consumers with a fairly reliable and secure. Therefore, this research discusses the feasibility study of the operations and financial aspects of the distribution of electrical power. The method used is quantitative descriptive by analyzing the voltage and network shrinkage data by using the ETAP software 12.6.0 as well as analysing the financial cost of the investment to the cost of expenditure. On the planning of development of the PLTM distribution system Pebatua 2 in relation to the plant to the point of transaction to the GD Pasang Kayu?s system with a distance of ± 4 km, has a drop voltage value of 2.1% and a losses value of 2.22%. The development of the PLTM distribution system based on standard criteria can be said to be feasible from the operation side. Development of PLTM is said to be feasible from the side of the operation based on investment costs Rp. 1.54 billion has NPV = Rp 445,561,980, IRR = 16.36%, BCR = 1.29 and PBP = 6 years, shows to refund capital costs in 6th.
