Abstract :
Electricity demand will always to increase along with the population grows. The distribution of electrical energy from the substation has to be adequate and reliable to fulfil the consumer demands especially the GIS substation Grogol which has 3 power transformers and 48 feeders to match the electricity demands, therefore it is necessary to check and maintain an electrical protection system for the reliability of the electric power system. The calculation of OCR and GFR relay settings on the feeder side obtained OCR time setting relay of 0.30 seconds and is the same with the actual time setting relay that is at 0.30 seconds, while the GFR relay working time of 0.296 seconds while working time on the field 0.30 seconds . From the calculation of OCR and GFR relay settings it can be observed that the results of calculations with the actual data setting are still considered in good condition
