Abstract :
Wlingi Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) is a type of reservoir. A Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) in fact, tends to experience inaccuracies in producing electricity. One of the causes is the condition of the seasons in the area around the plant is always changing. This has an impact on the condition of the water collected by the reservoir for the generation process to experience instability. Moreover, the Wlingi reservoir is a multipurpose reservoir, where water management for electricity production is not a primary requirement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of seasonal variations and water discharge used for the production of electrical energy produced by the Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA). The method used in this study is a quantitative method where the data presented in the form of numbers and processing in the form of calculations the results can be presented in tables and graphs. The results of the study show that water discharge directly affects the Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) production while the seasonal variations do not directly affect the Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) production. In 2019, the flow of inflow that flowed on average was 88.43 m3/s while for the average outflow debit was 74.80 m3/s. Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) production by considering the inflow discharge in 2019 is 153.17 GWh, while considering the Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) outflow discharge generates 129.56 GWh of energy. To predict 2020 can be done by referring to the outflow and elevation discharge in 2019. With the predicted results of Wlingi hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) production of 146,03 GWh.
