Abstract :
Planning for the construction of the Ungaran Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) with a capacity of 60 MW following the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) which will be operated in 2025 requires an electric power supply for Self Use in the power center, both in normal operating conditions and in conditions of disruption (blackout). The capacity value of the supply voltage needed for the power supply is medium voltage can be supplied through a Station Service Transformer (SST) or a Service Transformer Unit (UST), a low-voltage power supply can be supplied through the Auxiliary Transformer Unit (UAT), and while the supply needs electric power to start when a blackout condition can use a Station Service Transformer or Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG). The electrical system planning method for determining the capacity of a transformer is carried out by taking inventory of essential and non-essential equipment power requirements. In connection with the plan to build PLTP Ungaran in Central Java of 60 MW, the authors plan a Service Transformer Unit capacity of 4 MVA, 2 Auxiliary Transformer Units with a capacity of 1.5 MVA and 1 MVA, and an Emergency Diesel Generator capacity of 1 MVA and the percentage of power usage. itself at PLTP Ungaran to the generator output power of 6.9%. The planned transformer capacity can meet the load requirements because it already takes into calculated the sum of the equipment self-use as well as the coincidence factor of the equipment.
